该项目讲述了动画师们被厌倦其胡作非为的YouTube之神流放并封印，却错将其现状归咎于自己安然无恙的作品，并誓要摧毁屏障将背弃自己的作品“绳之以法”的故事。
== 历程 ==
2017年4月9日，QuazaKirby向其友人提出了“将YouTube的动画师代入进Undertale”的概念。在简单将其命名为“Undergrounded”后，QuazaKirby在当天为该项目创建了Discord服务器。在服务器内经过讨论后，该项目随后敲定下正式名称“Painted Plummet”及其部分角色站位。同时，QuazaKirby也向服务器内征集创作者为''Painted Plummet''创作配乐——其中的作品也包括''[[Animus]]''。

2018年，随着QuazaKirby逐渐对''Painted Plummet''的创作失去兴致，并厌倦''Animus''占据了该项目的绝大部分同人创作，其开始考虑将该项目彻底取消或转让给其他人。同年3月17日，此前高度参与''Painted Plummet''同人创作的Retri计划组建制作团队以重启该项目。于是次日，QuazaKriby将该项目的所有权正式移交至Retri。
